House of Delegates


SCMA’s House of Delegates will convene for its annual meeting on Friday, April 26 and Sunday, April 28 at the Hyatt Regency Greenville. The forum gives physicians from across the state an opportunity to gather as a professional group to present and debate policies that affect the practice of medicine and the delivery of patient care in South Carolina.

Each component medical society is entitled to representation in the House of Delegates and is required by SCMA’s bylaws to select and promptly report the names of delegates to the SCMA Office. If you are interested in participating in the House of Delegates, contact your local county medical society.

2024 HOD Annual Meeting Procedure

Resolutions


Any member of the SCMA may submit a resolution for consideration. All resolutions must be submitted to the SCMA Board of Trustees at least thirty (30) days prior to the opening session of the House of Delegates (by close of business March 18, 2024).

To submit your resolution to the Board of Trustees, please email the resolution in a Word document to info@scmedical.org

*Please note that no House of Delegates handbooks will be printed. All delegates will be sent information on how to access the handbook closer to the meeting.
