SCMedPAC is the official Political Action Committee of the SCMA and is the single largest political voice representing South Carolina physicians and the patients they serve. As the bipartisan political arm of the SCMA, it exists to help elect physician-friendly candidates who are running for statewide office.
Why Should I give to SCMedPAC?
SCMedPAC represents the medical community as one united front. Donating strengthens the voice you have as a physician, regardless of your political affiliations.
To be a part of a team that speaks with a single, resonant voice to guide physician advocacy efforts.
To help protect your profession’s interests from outside attacks from trial lawyers, insurance companies and para-medical groups.

There are several levels of SCMedPAC membership to choose from and show your support both individually and collectively:
- Practice Gold ($3,500)
SCMedPAC’s premier corporate membership level, Corporate Gold, offers all the benefits listed below plus special recognition at the SCMA Annual Meeting and an opportunity to participate in a pre-legislative session legislative planning and policy session with SCMedPAC staff and leadership. - Practice Silver ($2,500 - $3,499)
Corporate Silver members receive VIP seating and special recognition at the annual statehouse day in Columbia, SC, exclusive membership pins, and recognition in SCMA publications. - Practice Sustainer ($1,750 - $2,499)
Corporate Sustainer is SCMedPAC’s basic practice membership level. At the Corporate Sustainer level, a practice has added their voice to that of their colleagues across the state and will receive legislative e-updates an invitation to an exclusive SCMedPAC social event at the Annual Meeting.
- Physician Platinum ($1,500)
SCMedPAC’s premier physician membership level, Physician Platinum, offers the benefits listed below plus special recognition at the SCMA Annual Meeting, an invitation to a monthly conference call (during legislative session) regarding legislative priorities and progress, and an invitation to an exclusive SCMedPAC social event at the Annual Meeting. - Physician Gold ($1,000 - $1,499)
Physician Gold members receive exclusive membership pins, recognition in SCMA publications, and exclusive legislative e-updates. - Physician Silver ($500 - $999)
Physician Silver is SCMedPAC’s basic individual membership level. At the Physician Silver level, a member has added their voice to that of their colleagues across the state and will receive legislative e-updates.
