South Carolina Medical Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council of Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
As an accredited provider of Continuing Medical Education, we follow the standard policies developed by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). In keeping with the ACCME regulations, we have developed the following forms to assist with your activity planning and implementation.
Please complete the CME Application Form in its entirety, save changes to your computer, and email a completed copy to Necole Stinson. Submission must be 10-12 weeks prior to the educational activity date. Once approved you will receive a CME Activity Approval Letter via email.
Please complete the SCMA CME Planning form in its entirety, save changes to your computer, and email a completed copy to Necole Stinson to ensure the activity meets standards established by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). Essential areas have been established by the ACCME to assure physicians and the public that Category 1 approved CME activities meet the accepted standards of education.
This form must be completed in order to participate as a person who will control the educational content of this accredited CME activity. After completing the form, save changes to your computer, and email a completed copy to Necole Stinson. We ask that you disclose all financial relationships with any ineligible companies that you have had over the past twenty-four (24) months.
