The goal of the SCMA Medical Student Section is to provide our state's medical students with an opportunity to get involved in organized medicine. In addition, the SCMA strives to provide resources to help enhance each medical student's educational years.

the SCMA Annual Meeting, the Leadership Symposium and Resolution Writing Workshops - Free registration for the SCMA Annual Meeting where you can also participate in the SCMA Poster Competition. Winners receive a monetary prize
- Opportunities to participate as Doctor of the Day at the South Carolina State House
- Work with current member physicians to make policy changes that could impact state laws
