Topic Overview:
This session will walk through some of the key regulatory, coding and reimbursement changes that have occurred since the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic and how medical practices are now able to diagnose and treat patients remotely and virtually without a direct face-to-face office visit.

Objectives:

  1. Gain a better understanding of what are telehealth services, what is RPM and what is RTM and the differences between these services from a coding and reimbursement perspective
  2. Understand what physicians need in order to provide these services for their patients and how to document these services in medical record
  3. Understand about the risks, liabilities, and opportunities that this new technology and approach to patient care afford a physician practice and their patients
