About the presenter:

Dr. Joshua Neal is an Obesity Medicine physician and Assistant Professor in the Division of Endocrinology at MUSC. He also holds leadership roles as ICCE Chief for ICCE Chief for Health, Wellness, and Human Performance and Obesity Medicine Director for the Bariatric Surgery Program. Dr. Neal earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his medical degree from Albany Medical College. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, after which he served for four years abroad with the U.S. Army. Prior to joining MUSC, he was the Regional Medical Director for Ascension St. Vincent’s Bariatric Medical Weight Management Program.
