This annual workshop walks through the process of resolution writing in preparation of our 2024 SCMA House of Delegates, which convenes at our annual meeting.

Dr. Mc Anto Antony, SCMA YPS Chairman, invites all members of the South Carolina Medical Association for a live CME event on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024 during the Resolution Writing Workshop.

Presented by Lisa M. Kerns, MBA, CMPE, CPC, Reimbursement Solutions, LLC

  • Ms. Lisa Kerns has over 25 years experience in establishing operational optimization in medical practice management.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the employment options of solo private practice, group practice, or hospital-based practice opportunities with discussion of pros and cons of each option
  • Understand the details of private practice, how to pursue solo practice, or the option of group practice in a private environment.
  • Understand value-based reimbursements and the positive impact on patient outcomes.
  • Understand the importance of coding and documentation as it relates to reimbursement and RVU requirements.

This event will occur during the SCMA Resolution Writing Workshop. You can choose to attend the entire workshop in person, or attend only the CME event virtually.

Registrants for the CME event will receive a link the day before the presentation.
